Going to see my honeybun!

Today I'm getting on a train to see my boyfriend! We haven't seen each other in a week, which isn't really that long but it's still exiting to see him again. This is what I'm wearing:

I bought the cardigan at a thrift shop. My former roommate gave me the denim jumpsuit. The t-shirt is from one of my favourite shops: Monki. My low top Converse was a gift from my boyfriend, he bought them for me on a recent trip to New York.

The weather has been kind of iffy here the last few days. You never really know if it's going to be raining or if it's going to be sunny, and I think this oufit it perfect for that kind of weather. If it gets hot you can take off the cardigan and roll the legs of the pants up. This jumpsuit is also really soft and comfy so it's perfect for travelling.
What do you think of this outfit? (:

Naturally yours

I pretty much use the same makeup products every day. I haven't been interested or have had the confidence to try different makeup looks. However, recently I've started to become more and more interested in trying out different looks and playing around a bit more.
I'm a huge fan of Zoella, and I've seen her use products from the brand "Zoeva" before. I went to their website and found this palette, and I thought it was perfect. I'm not really interested in using a lot of bright colours in my eye makeup. I'm more into natural, earthy tones. The "Naturally yours" palette only has, as the name suggests, natural, brownish tones, and they're all gorgeous. I think it's the perfect starter palette for me. It has enough colours to allow variation in daily looks, and it has a combination of both shimmery and matte shadows.

Winter wants

Glitter nailpolish from Barry M. I adore glitter nailpolishes and I this this is the perfect shade of pink and has the perfect amount of chunky glitter.

White blouse with eyelash print from Romwe. A white blouse always looks stylish, and this one from Romwe has that little interesting detail that can give an outfit that extra "omph".

Polka dotted dress from H&M. I LOVE polkadots in all forms, I love how relaxed and comfy this dress looks, and I love the contrast of the white polkadots on the black dress.

Cable knit sweater from Romwe. It's the season for sweaters. I wish I could wear sweaters every day of the year, but unfortunately that would be sweaty and gross in the summer months. That's why I need to wear sweaters as much as I can in the colder months, and this one from Romwe is perfect. The peachy pink colour is adorable, and the pattern is gorgeous. It's also long enough to wear with leggings, which is a comfy and effortless look.

Lace up flats from Choies. Flats are my favourite type of shoe to wear (I hate high heels!). I love the black shiny looks of these. They looks so elegant. I think you could wear them to multiple occasions, both casual and formal.

I've been away for quite some time.

Hello everyone!
I haven't written a blog post in months! To be honest, I forgot about blogging all together. But with the new year started I thought I'd try to pick up this hobby again.
What's new with me? I've started a new school. I study fashion. I've moved away from home. I have a boyfriend and a whole new set of friends. My style and fashion sense keep evolving and I'm gaining more and more self confidence. Not much else.
I've got a good feeling about this blog, and it's definitely something I want to keep alive. I'll try to blog more in this coming year. And since I now study fashion, my school work will also make for some interesting blog posts. For now I'll leave you with a picture of me and my lovely boyfriend.

Last selfie of 2014!

July favourites

1. Thorin's key to Erebor. Since it's my birthday soon, Thorin, king of Erebor, was kind enough to give me his key to the hidden door of Erebor as a birthday present. Or my parents gave it to me and it was ordered from eBay ;)

2. Healing shampoo from Four Reasons. My scalp easily gets dry, irritated and itchy (I know, gross) so I started using this shampoo a couple of months ago, hoping it would help with the gross-ness, and it instantly made it all go away. I don't use this every time I wash my hair though, since it's kind of harsh.

3. Charity Pot from Lush. I've been using this body lotion a lot during the summer months. I usually use it after shaving since my legs get very dry very easily. What's even more cool about this product is that all the money you spend on it (minus tax) goes to a relevant charity in your country. Win-win situation - you give to charity and get a nice product. (:

4. Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell. I plowed through this book. It's one of the best books I've read in a long time. If you're a raging fangirl, like myself, read it! You won't be sorry.

5. Complete Coverage Concealer from e.l.f. This is the first product I've ever tried from e.l.f and I'm impressed. I didn't expect such a good product for such a cheap price. I love that there's four different shades of concealer in the palette, so you can blend them to your liking and use it even if your skin changes colour as the seasons change.

6. Floral phone case from eBay. This case has been on my phone for the whole month of July. I love the colour of it and I think it has been fitting for the warm weather.

Until next time! // Charlotta

Fairytale forest

I've been spending a lot of time in the forest in the past couple of days. This is partly because the berry / mushroom picking season is starting but it's also because I'm a huge nerd. I am a serious (and when I say serious, I mean serious) fan of Lord of the Rings,The Hobbit, Skyrim and just fantasy in general and if you've read those books (or seen the movies) or played Skyrim you know a lot of those stories take place in big forests. There's just something magical about forests, and I love being in them. Walking through a beautiful forest is even better if you listen to some kind of celtic music, it seriously feels like you're on a quest in a fantasy game of something!
I thought I'd share some photos I've taken on my daily hikes through my local forest. The quality of them are not that good since I took them with my iPhone but nevertheless I hope you feel some of the magic while looking at these photos. (It's even more magical if you listen to this song while scrolling through them ;))
